Now they are ready to expand in the rest of the Nordic countries and internationally, and we are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead their commercial-driven marketing effort.

As the CMO, you will be responsible for driving revenue generation and market share expansion through strategic marketing initiatives. You will lead a team of marketing professionals to develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that directly contribute to the company’s commercial success. The role is closely connected to the digitalization of the group through its omni-channel approach, where digitalization of the group’s way of working plays an incremental role while creating sell-through and enhanced customer experiences for retailers and other partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manager of global marketing.
  • Develop and implement strategic brand and marketing plans focused on driving sales and revenue growth.
  • Leading market research and analyzing market trends, competition, and customer behavior to ensure the company’s position in the competitive landscape and understanding of customer needs.
  • B2B and D2C marketing plans for all business units, decisions by product line, budgeting, scheduling, respective channel, and project management.
  • Project management, including marketing tools, in-store presentations, shows, and company presentations.
  • Visual identity management and individual graphic tasks. Responsibility for the group’s internal marketing.
  • Leading digital marketing strategies and activities for all channels.
  • Responsible for potential external resources and partnerships, ensuring marketing tools, systems, and programmers in use are sufficient and serve the purpose on an international level.
  • Responsible for analyzing, planning, and implementing e-commerce strategies within the group, and building up, leading, and motivating the relevant team to achieve the agreed growth strategy and business development.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience creating lasting results in FMCG brands or distribution companies in marketing and e-commerce, with a minimum of 5 years in an international environment.
  • Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, with a focus on driving revenue generation and digitalization of marketing processes and communications.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable marketing strategies and KPI-driven executions.
  • A solid understanding of e-commerce strategies and practices. Additionally, a track record of successfully driving online sales growth and optimizing digital marketing channels for e-commerce conversions is essential for this role.
