We are now looking for a Design Operations Manager to help our client bring their design teams and products to the next level.
The role will focus on amplifying the product design teams at Viaplay and Viafree - working with the well-being of designers, writers and researchers (around 20 people), guarding and improving the design process, driving design initiatives, and collaborate with other functions across the company.
You will work with all designers across teams on alignment and culture, and partner with Product, Tech and various departments with the mission of improving their ways of working together.
This is the next step in their journey of scaling and improving, and the role is a new one. You will be able and expected to influence and shape the role and the way of working to a large extent. And doing so you are expected to apply your design experience to work in a structured, agile way to design a best-in-class design practice.
We are looking for a candidate with a solid background working with digital product design and a deep understanding in the challenges and opportunities of the design process in large companies. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of digital products, is comfortable in a user-centric design process, has solid experience in leading design and people, and wants to take part in defining the TV experience of tomorrow. We believe you are driven by curiosity and a constant urge to improve yourself and everyone around you.
You have at least 5 years of work experience doing Interaction Design, User Experience Design or Visual Design.
