MIPS specializes in helmet-based safety. For over 20 years they have been cooperating with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institutet, developing a technology that now is world leading. Collaborating with more than 70 of the world's most prestigious helmet manufacturers.
The solution is built into the helmet and prevents harmful rotational motion within the brain that, in the event of an impact, can lead to devastating damage. The goal is for cyclists, skiers, motorcyclists and other helmet carriers to be able to focus safely on their activity.
Right now, MIPS is in an exciting growth phase where a lot is happening and a lot is being invested. They just hired a new CEO, Chairman of the Board and CMO. And major investments are made in the marketing team who’s biggest goal is to build a stronger brand. To succeed, they however need a Digital Manager.
As the Digital Manager at MIPS, you are the person responsible for the digital presence.
You own the digital platforms and its performance. You make sure people find their way to the site and have a great experience while there. And you help them find their way to external partners if needed. You are also the one in charge of marketing in digital and social channels.
To succeed in this role, you are most likely a person with a great interest in sports in general and outdoor in particular. You have experience from working in CMS tools, know the basics of SEO/SEM, and are familiar with digital systems. You are used to working with digital agencies and know Google Analytics like the back of your hand.
In order to thrive in this lovely little team, you should also be self-sufficient and confident to take on both visionary and operational pursuits. (And to share nerdy insights around your favourite outdoor-sport over lunch)
