Colorama was formed early 2007 after a merger of the national voluntary chains Spekttrum and Färgtema. In 2020 the merger with Svenska Färghusgruppen will push the group to around 170 stores in Sweden and more than 1.5billion SEK in turnover. Colorama is the largest independent color retailer in the Nordic region with almost 30% market share in Sweden.

With all the stores independently owned by entrepreneurs they take big pride in building local leadership where each free retailer develop an unbeatable relationship to the customer. Centrally Colorama is responsible for joint purchasing, logistics, central market communication and overall development of the retail network.

To meet the shifting consumer behavior Colorama has started a subsidiary reresponsible for all digital experiences (Colorama DX). Exactly as in the physical trade, the independent retailer owns and is responsible for the relationship with the end customer. Colorama DX mission is to support local entrepruners with capabilities that scales cross all stores. That should be everything from business strategy, technolgoy plattforms and ecommerce cabability. This while the trader decides and is responsible for the offer, pricing and distribution.

Colorama has made huge investments in creating a seamless (omni) customer journey where online, traders and the +160 physical stores meet. Now we’re recruiting the Head of E-Commerce who will be crucial in realize, develop and execute this plan, from business strategy, online sales and technical development. You’ll be setting KPIs and tactical changes within the organisation to adapt to market conditions, ensuring the business are at the forefront of the industry and gaining competitive advantage at every opportunity.

Maximizing online sales performance, ensuring the long term strategy is at the heart of all decisions you will manage the P&L for the online retail channel, delivering on short term and long term plans, including delivered against budget. Liaising and influencing cross functionally within the senior management team, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged on Ecommerce activity, projects and strategy, and knowledge, assistance and insight is acquired where needed. Partnering with the marketing function to analyze marketing channels performance and provide guidance on future online investment.

You’ll act as PO of the e-com platform, own and manage the entire online customer journey from development to launch. Ensuring exceptional customer service and UX from landing on the site, through to product delivery including click and collect. This is a new business area, meaning everything is built from scratch requiring this person to be quite versatile parallel to building a strong online team and working with external partners and agencies.
