MIPS specializes in helmet-based safety. For over 20 years they have been cooperating with KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Karolinska Institutet, developing a technology that now is world-leading and has a global presence!
The solution is built into the helmet and prevents harmful rotational motion within the brain that, in the event of an impact, can lead to devastating damage. The goal is to help cyclists, skiers, motorcyclists and other helmet carriers to be able to focus safely on their activity.
At MIPS a lot of exciting things are happening, both on a global arena and at the company! The marketing department is growing and this is where you come in, their new Media Manager.
In this role you will be strategically and operationally responsible for MIPS media purchases globally. This includes media strategies, media plans and follow-ups with external partners. To succeed in this role, you are most likely a person with a great interest in sports in general and outdoor in particular. For the last years, you have worked with media and have got great experience from digital to print.
To thrive in this lovely team, you should also be self-sufficient and confident to take on both visionary and operational pursuits. You probably also enjoy to share nerdy insights around your favorite outdoor-sport over lunch, who knows.
